“What do you mean, you don’t know Bradman’s test average?”
Immigrants need to assimilate into Australian culture.
Witness two teams of Monash Law graduates debate this topical and highly controversial issue at the annual Monash Great Law Week Debate.
One of Melbourne’s most respected QCs David Galbally, together with Kim Little, World Universities Debating Champion and Shivani Pillai, Barrister and President of Monash Law Alumni Association, will be arguing the negative. This won’t be easy against Meg O’Sullivan, Barrister and former World Debating Champion, Victor Perton, former Liberal State MP and Roland Dillon, lawyer and 2005 World Masters Debating Champion.
Venue: Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, Auditorium (Level 2), 2 Clarendon St, Southbank
Time: 6pm, Wednesday 14 May
