Following two years of workshopping and research with trafficked women and other women in the sex industry, director Catherine Simmonds will present a powerful performance exploring trafficking and prostitution in Australia, and the lives of women in this industry. Prostitute: Who is She? will be acted by the women themselves, with professional actors.

Kathleen Maltzahn’s book, Trafficked, will be launched at 6pm on Saturday 12 July, prior to the performance. This is the first book-length account of the trafficking of women and girls for prostitution in Australia, written with passion and insight by a leading activist on behalf of trafficked women.
